Marisol Punta Cana
Privacy Policy & Guest Protection Terms
This policy explains how we handle personal information and establishes the essential conduct, inventory and property-protection terms applicable to reservations and stays at Marisol Punta Cana.
Privacy-first principlesSecure payment processingLast updated: September 19, 2026
Important booking noticeProperty-protection charges are subject to the reservation terms accepted by the guest, documented evidence, applicable law, and the rules of the booking platform or payment processor. Mandatory consumer rights always remain applicable.
Section 01
Scope and Acceptance
This policy applies to the Marisol Punta Cana website, direct communications, booking inquiries, reservations and guest stays. By submitting information, booking directly or completing a reservation through an authorized channel, you acknowledge this policy and the reservation terms presented to you.
If mandatory law, a booking platform or a payment provider gives you greater protection, those requirements prevail. This policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
Section 02
Information We Collect
Identity and contact information: name, telephone number, email address, country and information needed to communicate with you.
Reservation information: arrival and departure dates, number and names of guests, special requests and booking history.
Verification information: government-issued identification or other information reasonably required for the reservation, fraud prevention or community access.
Payment information: transaction status, billing details and limited payment references supplied by the payment processor. We do not intend to store full card numbers or card security codes on this website.
Technical information: IP address, browser/device information, cookie identifiers, website activity and security logs.
Communications: emails, calls, WhatsApp messages, support requests, reviews and reports concerning the stay or property.
Section 03
How and Why We Use Information
To respond to inquiries, confirm availability and administer reservations.
To verify guests, provide access instructions and communicate during the stay.
To process payments, refunds and authorized property-protection claims.
To maintain security, prevent fraud, protect guests and safeguard the apartment.
To comply with legal, tax, accounting, community and regulatory obligations.
To improve the website and guest experience using necessary or consent-based analytics.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, processing may rely on performance of a reservation contract, consent, compliance with legal obligations or legitimate interests that do not override your rights.
Section 04
Payments and Card Security
Payments may be processed by an authorized third-party payment processor or booking platform under its own privacy and security terms. Payment card data should be transmitted and handled through secure payment systems designed for payment-account protection.
We may receive a payment token, transaction identifier, card brand and last digits, but we do not intend to receive or retain your full card number or security code through this website.
Damage or loss charges: when authorized by the accepted reservation agreement, we may request or process reasonable charges through the payment method on file for documented damage, missing inventory, unauthorized occupancy, excessive cleaning, community fines or other covered losses. The guest will be informed and supporting evidence may be provided, subject to the dispute procedures of the payment processor or booking platform and applicable law.
Section 05
Service Providers and Disclosure
We may disclose only the information reasonably necessary to booking platforms, payment processors, website or hosting providers, communication services, property support personnel, community security, professional advisers and government authorities when legally required.
We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation. If applicable law treats certain advertising technology disclosures as a “sale” or “sharing,” you may contact us to request an available opt-out.
Section 06
Cookies and Website Technologies
The website may use essential cookies for security, navigation, language, forms and booking functionality. With consent where required, analytics or advertising technologies may help us understand visits and improve services.
You can manage cookies through your browser and any consent controls displayed on the website. Blocking essential cookies may affect booking or website functions.
Section 07
International Transfers
Because guests, service providers and payment platforms may operate in different countries, personal information may be processed outside your home country. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, organizational or legal safeguards and limit transfers to what is reasonably necessary.
Section 08
Retention and Security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for reservations, guest support, property protection, accounting, disputes and legal compliance. Retention periods may vary according to the type of record and applicable requirements.
Reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards are used to reduce unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet system can guarantee absolute security; please do not send full card details or sensitive documents through ordinary email or chat unless specifically requested through a secure method.
Section 09
Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing, withdrawal of consent, or a portable copy when legally available.
You may also request information about applicable disclosures and exercise an available right to opt out of qualifying sale, sharing or targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.
Send requests to info@marisolpuntacana.com. We may retain information when required for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, disputes or completion of the reservation.
Section 10
Children's Information
The website and booking service are intended for adults capable of entering a reservation agreement. A parent or legal guardian should provide any information required for children included in a stay. We do not knowingly request children to make bookings or submit payment information.
Section 11
